FOXWELL VET COOMERA IS NOW OPEN!

Microchipping

Here at Foxwell Vet we always want to make sure that your furry family members are safe and sound.

One of the easiest ways to ensure that your precious pet makes their way home to you if they adventure beyond your home is t o ensure that they are microchipped. We also recommend you have an ID tag attached to your pet’s collar as this can speed up the lost and found process.

Microchipping at Foxwell Vet is a very safe procedure involving the insertion of a chip, approximately the size of a grain of rice, into the back of their neck. If a lost pet is brought into the clinic, we utilise a microchip scanner to identify the pet and reunite it with their owner.

Make sure your pet’s microchip is up to date
Microchip details are no good is the phone number is disconnected or if you’ve moved house! We recommend that you update your contact details on the register associated with your pet’s microchip every time you change your contact details.
If you know your pet’s microchip number, click here to find out which register their details are on, or visit us today and we can scan your pet’s microchip and point you in the right direction.
